For desert, visit Tutti Frutti. This is an Italian gelato shop that is owned by Italian expats. They serve the best gelato that you can find in America. They have wonderful flavors that include the traditional, but also a few of their own inventions.
Francis Ford Coppola often comes to Belize for a getaway break. Her getaway has its own organic garden that supplies vegetables and fruits to the nearby lodge’s restaurant. They specialize in Italian dishes and offer a range of Coppola family favorites and Coppola wines. It goes without saying that Montagna Ristorante will be a pricey dining experience.
Guava Limb Café
For light lunches and hearty dinners that are not too expensive, visit Guava Limb Café. They offer delicious salads and paninis and have tables outside that overlook a park. It has a casual and relaxing atmosphere and is great for good food. Their red velvet cheesecake is to die for.
These are only a few of the wonderful restaurants that you can choose from. There are no fast food chains like McDonald’s. Eating in Belize will be an experience in itself.
